This filter is a foam cone style filter with an 80mm neck made by RamAir. This can only be fitted if you fit a front mount intercooler and a Torque Italia straight induction pipe. The filter now sits down behind the front offside air intake which was originally where the side mount intercooler sat.
Originally I fitted one of these. However when I fitted the Torque Italia straight induction mod to the car this filter had to be ditched for the RamAir Cone filter above. This K&N filter was a direct replacement panel filter (NOT cone style) for the standard air filter. I was hoping for more induction roar and dump valve noise but it only made a small difference.
