Having been slightly dissapointed with the lack of induction noise by replacing the filter element with the K&N item I decided to drill 4x30mm holes in the side of the airbox. The induction and dump valve noise is much more pronounced now making the driving experience that much more enjoyable. The holes also allow the engine to suck in nice cold air from above the wheel arch rather than only through the forawrd facing trumpet.
